Call for Submissions

1st Issue - Rolling-Basis Submission

The Katz Journal of Medicine is excited to announce we are now accepting submissions for the inaugural issue. Authors should review the About the Journal and Author Information pages prior to submitting their work. All submissions will be peer-reviewed in a bias-blind manner by 2 student editors and 1 topic expert. Feedback and publishing decisions will be communicated to authors within 4 weeks of submission. 

Work may be submitted online using the Submit Tab at the top of the page. Submissions may be submitted by a student author or by a traditional principal investigator (professional with graduate degree). The submitting author will assume the role of corresponding author, taking responsibility for the article during peer review and subsequent communication. All authors will be notified of submission via email.

At this time, we will be accepting the following article types: original research, brief communication, personal viewpoint, case report, innovation report, and review article. For full author guidelines, word lengths, and general outlines of each article type, please visit the For Authors webpage.

Final publication release will be in Spring 2024; however, once accepted all article types will be published-online immediately.
