Contributors to MUNDI - not the journal itself - own all rights to their work. Pursuant to U.S. copyright law, MUNDI licenses its article submissions under Creative Commons’ Attribution-Noncommercial copyright license. According to creativecommons.org, “this license lets others remix, adapt, and build upon your work non-commercially, and although their new works must also acknowledge you and be non-commercial, they don’t have to license their derivative works on the same terms.” As an editorial board, we settled on this license with the rationale that it strikes the optimal balance between protection of the author’s intellectual property and enabling the dissemination of academic research. Note: other creators may adapt MUNDI content for commercial use with the author’s permission. For more information, see to the pertinent legal code. Please contact the MUNDI editorial board at mundi.journal@gmail.com or your librarian with any questions about copyright.
