About the Journal

About Maneto

Created in the summer of 2016 by Temple undergraduate students and faculty, Maneto is an open-access, peer-reviewed journal highlighting the exceptional work of Temple University’s undergraduates. Directed by a board of undergraduate students, peer-reviewed by graduate students and faculty, and published by Temple University Libraries and Press, Maneto’s mission is to showcase the absolute best research and creative work of Temple’s undergraduate students. Maneto is an interdisciplinary journal that accepts research articles, theses, and other creative works.

Peer Review Process

All submissions to the journal undergo a multi-step review process. First, the student editorial board reviews submissions and decides which submissions to send for evaluation by the faculty editorial board. The faculty editorial board makes final decisions as to which submissions to reject and which to accept pending further revisions. The student editorial board then works with authors to make final revisions and copy edits to their works.

Open-Access Policy

This journal provides immediate open access to its content on the principle that making research freely available to the public supports a greater global exchange of knowledge.

Maneto is sponsored by Temple University Libraries and Temple University Press.
